History:
Wings of Salvation(WoS) was formed about a month ago in a guild merger: BLUE and SKY. Both guilds enjoyed running PvE, WvW together and in the end it made sense to come together to expand both of our communities. Both guilds prior to the merger had full upgrades and had completed guild missions, we are working our way back to that and are already nearly there.

History is boring, tell me what the guild currently does:
Well alrighty then lets forge on. WoS is currently heavily involved in WvW and PvE. We also do guild events, some random while most are planned. On average we have 20 users on at any given moment with a very strong and close community. Our core group of players is very close and we rarely use their character names and just use their real names instead. At our peaks currently we see 30-50 on.

Alright you have me some what interested… Tell me more about your WvW crowd:
WoS isn’t a guild that promotes zerging(although there are times when it is a tactic that we will employ to get a certain goal accomplished). Rather, we like to use strategy to out smart our enemies(multiple fronts, contesting a certain keep then hitting another, ect…) Currently we have seven commanders in WoS we require them to go through training or to prove to us that they are capable in leading before they sigil up under the WoS tag. In WvW a commander is the face of the guild that they are in and any decision they make whether it’s good or bad reflects on us, so, we hold them to high standards. We run WvW groups multiple times daily.

Meh, WvW isn’t really my thing I don’t think you guys are right for me… I’m more of a PvE player:
Well, alongside our enthusiastic WvW crowd, we have a diverse PvE crowd also. We have those that specialize in dungeons, world events and general leveling. There are frequent dungeon runs throughout the day that range from every dungeon instance in the game from AC to HoTW to FoTM. We offer all kinds of runs as well; if you’re new we take the time to teach you whatever you may need to know and guide you smoothly through to the end. Speed runs are also available to those that strive to complete runs as efficiently as possible but will need to be willing to meet requirements to make a speed run successful. Needless to say, we are on top of the popular world event timers and will therefore have presence in most world bosses on DR. WoS is full of friendly faces who will more than happily help out with any questions in regards to PvE from simple leveling tips to help with builds and quests. Any aspect of PvE

What makes WoS so special, why should I join WoS?:
Diverse members from all corners of the world have already called WoS their home from: Europeans, Australians, Asians to Americans. With ~20 on at any given time the guild chat is always going on about something new and different. From: sharing ideas, giving advice, talking about family, sports, ideas for the guild, and just general chat. This leads to a great open and friendly environment where you’ll feel free to speak up at any time and be welcomed amongst the guild. Most of us have been in those bigger server-brand-name-guilds that are huge but aren’t very friendly, helpful or active and many members consequently end up as faceless names. WoS broke away from all of that creating a very close core group of players that encompasses all of our active members. As a result: everyone in WoS has a face and a voice in the guild.

How does WoS promote members? Do they at all?
WoS doesn’t operate like your normal guild. We promote based on how much effort a member puts into the guild, the more you put into the guild the more you’ll get out of the guild. This has made our guild friendly and cooperative with a strong sense of camaraderie instilled within our members.

Alright, stop talking so much I want to join:
